Mehedin ARİFOVİC (Head of Laboratory) 

Mehedin Arifovic received a diploma in electrical engeneering from Çukurova University in 1997 and a master’s degree in electronics from the Gebze Institute of High Technology in 2002.

In 1997, he joined the Voltage Laboratory of TUBITAK Ulusal Metroloji Enstitüsü UME. His fields of activity include development of AC and DC voltage and current standards, measurement automation and ISO 17025 quality system. He is currently the head of the Voltage Laboratory.

 

Saliha TURHAN

Saliha Turhan graduated from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Hacettepe University in 1992. In 1993, she joined TÜBİTAK Ulusal Metroloji Enstitüsü (UME) as a researcher. She received her Master of Science degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication of Kocaeli University in 1999.

She works on realisation, maintenance, calibration and uncertainty evaluations of voltage measurement standards and interlaboratory comparisons. She is also the Deputy Quality Manager of TÜBİTAK UME and a lead assessor for the TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency). Her professional fields are DC and low-frequency voltage, current and resistance measurement systems, measurements / calibrations, uncertainty calculations and ISO/IEC 17025 standard applications.

 

Naylan KANATOĞLU

Naylan Kanatoğlu graduated in 2000 from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Kocaeli University. She joined the Voltage Laboratory in 1995.

Her activities include development and calibration of  AC and DC voltage and current standards and the ISO 17025 quality system. She also serves as a  technical expert for TÜRKAK (Turkish Acreditation Agency) in the field of the electrical measurements.  

 

Recep ORHAN

Recep ORHAN graduated from Middle East Technical University Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2013. He started to work at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM UEKAE in 2013 as researcher and has worked for 10 months. He studied on Mobile Radio Direction Finding System (MobDF) as software developer and test engineer. In 2014, he left from BİLGEM and joined to TÜBİTAK UME Voltage Laboratory. He is still working in Voltage Laboratory as researcher.

 

Serdar UZUN

Serdar Uzun graduated in 2002 from the Süleyman Demirel Üniversity Electronics Department as a high technician and in 2012 from Hoca Ahmet Yesevi University, Department of Computer Egineering. He joined the Voltage Laboratory of TÜBİTAK UME in 2002.

His activities include calibration of AC and DC voltage and current standards and implementation of the ISO 17025 quality system.   

 

Tezgül COŞKUN ÖZTÜRK

Tezgül Coşkun Öztürk graduated in 2001 from Kocaeli University, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She received a master’s degree in 2004 from Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of the Institute of Science at Kocaeli University.

She began work in the TÜBİTAK UME Voltage Laboratory in 2002. Here, she completed her graduate study on "Implementation of AC Signal Source of High-Precision Calibrators by Direct Digital Synthesis Technique ". She is working on the establishment, maintenance and calibration of primary level DC voltage, DC ratio and DC current standards.
