Bahadır TEKTAŞ (Head of Laboratory)

Bahadır Tektaş received a B.S. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Beykent University in 2014 as a high honor student and the M.Sc. degree in Metrology Programme of the Department of Physics from Gebze Technical University in 2018.

He has been working at TÜBİTAK UME since 2014. His research interests include commercial and military EMC tests/measurements and calibration.

 

Aykut AYAYDIN

Aykut Ayaydın started his vocational education in Haydarpaşa Industrial Vocational High School and then graduated from Uludağ University Technical Sciences Vocational High School Electrical Department in 2003.

He worked in various electrical and electronics companies in his professional life. He has been working in TÜBİTAK UME EMC Laboratory since 2009. He works as a laboratory technician in military and commercial tests, measurement and calibration services, national and international projects.

 

Çağlar ASLAN

Çağlar Aslan received a B.S. degree in physics from Erciyes University in 2012 and the M.Sc. degree in physics from Gebze Technical University in 2019.

He has been working in the Electromagnetic Laboratory at TÜBİTAK UME since 2014. His research areas include electromagnetic calibrations, laser spectroscopy, reverberation chambers and electromagnetic metrology.

 

Mehmet ÇINAR

Mehmet Çınar was born in Turkey, on  1974. He received the M.S. degree in Electronic and Communication from the University of  Kocaeli, Turkey, in 2011. He is currently at the National Metrology Institue, Turkey , as a Researcher, since November1998. His research interests include high-frequency measurement techniques, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), especially TEM cells and test chambers and primary and secondary calibration systems for EMC measurements.

 

Mesut ÖZTÜRK

Mesut Öztürk graduated from the Department of Electric of the Vocational Schools of Kocaeli University in 2003. He worked at ships electronic radar, gps, rf  system in JRC , Furuno and Raymarine. Since 2009, he has been with the National Metrology Institute (UME), Gebze, where he is currently a member of the EMC laboratories. His working interests include Military, commercial, aircraft, space and automotive EMC testing, antenna calibrations.

 

Serdar BÜYÜK

Serdar Büyük received BS and MSc degrees from Electrical Engineering and Energy Institute of İstanbul Technical University and he has been a PhD candidate at Kocaeli University since 2018.

He worked at industry as an automation engineer during 2010-2011 and he worked at Türk Standardları Enstitüsü – (Turkish Standards Institution-TSE) Electrotechnical Laboratory Gebze Directorate EMC division as a test engineer and division head respectively, through 2011-2020. Also, he worked in several projects in TSE; Electric Motor Testing Facility installation and commissioning speed radar testing, etc. He has been an IECEE technical assessor since 2019.

As of 2020, he is a senior researcher responsible for EMC tests at TUBİTAK UME.
