At the fair, which was supported by the Ministry of Health and brought together companies active in the healthcare industry, TÜBİTAK UME promoted the activities of its Medical Metrology Laboratory that went into service in 2015. Information on TÜBİTAK UME’s activities to ensure the traceability and reliability of medical measurements, produce certified reference materials for clinical measurements, and design and produce calibrators for medical devices was shared with visitors. Other services and projects by TÜBİTAK UME, such as training programs for professionals engaged in calibrations, establishment of systems for application of ultrasonic techniques in healthcare, performance tests on hearing aids and earphones also attracted considerable interest from attendees of the fair.
