Memorandum of Understanding signed on March 13, 2023 between the Mongolian Standardization and Metrology Agency (MASM) and TÜBİTAK UME with the aim of developing the cooperation in the field of scientific metrology.
TÜBİTAK UME’s Acting Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa ÇETİNTAŞ and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to The Republic of Türkiye Mr. Munkhbayar GOMBOSUREN signed The Memorandum of Understanding in the meeting organized by Ministery of Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Türkiye with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Türkiye Mr. Mevlüt ÇAVUŞOĞLU and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ms. Batmunkh BATTSETSEG.
The relations between MASM and TÜBİTAK UME starting from the year 2019 have reached the stage of progress, especially with the long-term training of MASM technical personnel, participated in the Project Placement Program organized within the cooperation of BIPM and TÜBİTAK UME, as well as the calibration services provided to MASM by TÜBİTAK UME.
By signing the Memorandum of Understanding, it is aimed to increase the areas of cooperation between the Mongolian Standardization and Metrology Agency and TÜBİTAK UME, to develop potential cooperation in new areas such as the implementation of joint projects and the organization of activities in the field of metrology.
