MoU Signed With D.I. Mendeleyev Institute of Metrology

The MoU was signed by the Director of TÜBİTAK UME, Dr. Mustafa Çetintaş, and the Director of VNIIM after the conclusion of the Scientific Conference in honour of the 175 Years of the D.I. Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology (VNIIM) and National Measurement System, held in St. Petersburg, Russia on June 14 and 15, 2017.

TÜBİTAK UME and VNIIM have already begun joint work on comparison of vacuum standards in the pressure range of  1·10-4 Pa - 1 Pa, for which measurements have been completed at TÜBİTAK UME and will begin at VNIIM later in 2017.

Scientific cooperation between TÜBİTAK UME and VNIIM, now formalized with the MoU, is expected to expand beyond vacuum measurements into other areas of metrology.
