"2021-Kibble Balance Technical Meeting", where the current results of the studies carried out worldwide on the realization and dissemination of the new definition of the kilogram unit were shared, was hosted by TÜBİTAK UME.
The meeting, which was organized online on 22-23 November 2021, was held with participation of 119 experts from 30 institutions.
During the meeting the participants from the world's leading metrology institutes and their partners in universities shared with audience results of their research and TÜBİTAK UME introduced the Kibble Balance system, which was developed with an alternative idea to its counterparts in the world.
The current situation and the practices that will guide in the future the other units which are defined based on kilogram were discussed at the forums held at the end of each day.
