TÜBİTAK UME participated in the 8th Islamic Cooperation Organization Halal Expo, the largest Halal Fair held at the Istanbul Congress Center within the scope of the "Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) activities, between 25 and 28 November 2021.
Organized under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, the 8th OIC Halal Fair, which is held simultaneously with the World Halal Summit every year and where many activities such as exhibition areas, B2B programs, workshops, accompanied by professional procurement committees are held, participated in the 8th OIC Halal Fair with more than 300 local and foreign institutions and companies from 35 different countries. The Fair was attended by about a thousand visitors.
At the fair, where a wide variety of products and new works related to the Halal production sector were exhibited, an information about needs and requests for the service and R&D of the stakeholders in the field of metrology were collected as well as information about the activities carried out by TÜBİTAK UME was given to the visitors.
