Establishing the traceability of capacitance unit is planned by means of upgrading TÜBİTAK UME’s facilities in the future. After completion of a project on DC current source, studies will focus on manufacturing an ultra low DC current meter.
Additionally, studies on the development of measurement systems that use impedance measurement techniques are carried out. In this scope, the laboratory will focus on producing sensors and measurement equipment for medical devices in cooperation with medical device manufacturers in Turkey.
The Impedance Laboratory will continue to participate in European Union funded research and development projects.
