Enis TURHAN (Head of Laboratory)
Enis Turhan graduated from the Electronic and Communications Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University in 1996.
He joined TÜBİTAK UME as a researcher in 1997. He works on the realization, maintenance, calibration and uncertainty evaluations of impedance and DC resistance standards and national and international intercomparisons. He performs industrial calibrations, tests, training and consultancy services. He takes part in national and international research projects related to impedence measurements. He is a qualified assessor for TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency) and the contact person for the EURAMET Low Frequency Electrical Measurements sub-committee. His professional fields are Capacitance, Inductance, AC Resistance, DC Resistance and Voltage Ratio measurement systems, measurements, calibrations, uncertainty calculations.
Cem HAYIRLI
Cem Hayırlı graduated from of Department of Physics Education of the Middle East Technical University in 1998. He has a master’s degree of in physics from Kocaeli University.
He started to work in the TUBİTAK UME RF and Microwave Laboratory in 1998. He has been working for the Impedance Laboratory since 2012.
He has taken part in studies on primary and secondary level RF and microwave power, s-parameters, impedance, electrical noise measurement systems, and uncertainty calculations related to these subjects. On behalf of TUBİTAK UME, he participated in international key comparisons on microwave power and s-parameters to provide international traceability. In addition, he worked on measurements, uncertainty calculations and results reporting of secondary level national inter laboratory comparisons related to both microwave power measurements and AC current shunt calibration. He has been working on primary and secondary level system maintenance related to DC resistance, and on low level current measurement and measurement systems. He carries out works on AC conductivity measurements.
Gülay GÜLMEZ
Gülay Gülmez graduated from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Hacettepe University in 1992.
In 1993, she joined TÜBİTAK Ulusal Metroloji Enstitüsü (UME) as a researcher. She works on realisation, maintenance, calibration and uncertainty evaluations of impedance and DC Resistance standards and national and international intercomparisons. She works for industrial calibration, test, training, consultancy She takes part in national and international research projects related in measurements. She works as a lead assessor and assessor of TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency). She is work as reviewer for CMC working group of EURAMET. Her professional fields are Capacitance, Inductance, AC Resistance, DC Resistance.Capacitance, İnductance and AC Voltage Ratio measurement systems, measurements, calibrations, uncertainty calculations.
Nesrin GALİÇ
Nesrin Galiç graduated from the Tekirdağ Higher Vocational School, Department of Industrial Electronics in 1995 and Anadolu University, Management Faculty, Department of Business in 2013.
She worked at TÜBİTAK (UEKAE) in 1995 between October and December, and then started to work at TUBİTAK UME Electronics Workshop as technician. She worked as senior technician at Special Measurements Laboratory in 1997-2004, at Voltage Laboratories in 2004-2007. She is working at Impedance Laboratories since 2007 as head technician. She takes charges in construction of measurement systems and industrial calibration services.
Ömer ERKAN
He graduated from Istanbul University Electric-Electronics Engineering with honor degree in 1999. He completed his Master of Science degree from Istanbul University Institute of Science Department of Electronics Engineering in 2003.
He worked as a Research Assistant at Istanbul University Electric-Electronics Engineering Department between 1999 and 2002. His research area was coding techniques in wireless communication systems. He began to work at TÜBİTAK UME Impedance Laboratories in 2002 and still working there.
He worked in the area of primary and secondary inductance, capacitance, AC resistance measurements and measurement system developing, characterizing and uncertainty calculations.
He worked in the area of primary and secondary DC resistance measurements and measurement system developing, characterizing and uncertainty calculations. He has worked for international comparisons in the field of DC resistance and low current measurements. He has organized national comparisons in the field of DC resistance. His research interests are DC resistance measurement systems, low current measurements, low current measurement system constructions and AC conductivity measurements.
