Başak AKSELLİ (Head of Laboratory)
Başak Akselli graduated from Istanbul Technical University Chemical Engineering Department in 1993 and she subsequently received her master’s degree from the same department. Between 1995 and 1997, she worked for Cardak Gıda Sanayi and Fako Medicine companies. After that she started working at TÜBİTAK UME in the chemistry group. Since 1998 she has been working for the fluid flow group. She has contributed to the establishment of gas and liquid flow rate calibration systems of TÜBİTAK UME. Now she is responsible for the performance of liquid flow test & calibration services, the assurance of the traceability of national standards, participation in national and international comparisons, research studies and instruction in training courses.
Esra KOÇ
In 2008, Osmangazi University Mechanical Engineering undergraduate education was completed. She worked as a Research Assistant at ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering between 2008 and 2011, and completed her Master's degree in ITU Thermal-Fluid in 2011, depending on two-phase flow and cooling systems. She worked as a R&D Engineer between 2011-2015 at private sector. During her doctoral education, she received training on fluid mechanics, turbulence, and boiling and condensation at ITU Mechanical Engineering Department and continues her thesis studies. Since 2015, he has been working as a Chief Researcher within the Fluids Laboratory at UME and continues to focus on various projects
Sevim CEVAHİR ŞENLİKCİ
She finished her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Yildiz University in 1996 and then obtained her master’s degree in 2002 from the Gebze High Technology Institute in Economics. After that, she started to work for TÜBİTAK UME as the head of the mechanical workshop. Since 2008, she has been working in the fluid flow group in the areas of flow rate (gas and water) and air speed calibrations. She is also participating in national and international comparisons and research project studies.
