Dr. TANIL TARHAN (Head of Laboratory)
Dr. Tanıl Tarhan received his BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from the Department of Chemical Engineering in Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey, in 1997, 1999 and 2004, respectively. He worked as a teaching assistant in the same Department during his MSc and PhD studies. He has worked as a senior researcher in Chemistry Group Laboratories since 2006. Currently, he is head of Gas Metrology Laboratory of UME.
Dr. Aylin BOZTEPE
Aylin Boztepe is graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Chemical Engineering in 2007. She also got her MSc degree at Yıldız Technical University at the same department in 2011. During the master's period (2009 -2011), she worked as "Scholarship" on the project of "Liquid fuel production from biomass and coal blends" managed by TÜBİTAK MAM Energy Institute and Marmara University. She started her PhD education at Yıldız Technical University in 2012 and completed her thesis and got the title of "Doctor" in 2016. She worked as "Laboratory Responsible" in Milten Mining between 2013 and 2017. She left her job in 2017 (January) and started to work at TÜBİTAK UME Chemistry Group Laboratories as Senior Researcher.
Gürol KONİ
Gürol KONİ, graduated from Kocaeli University Vocational School Biomedical Equipment Technology Department in 2005. In 2006, he started to work at Çamlıca Medicana Hospital, sleep disorder laboratory, as sleep and bronchoscopy technician under supervision of Prof. Dr. Yalçın KARAKOCA as well as his surgery assistant. In 2007 he took charge at İstem Tıbbi Cihazlar San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. as biomedical technician working at surgery and sterilisation departments, installation, maintenance and assembly activities. In August 2012 he started his new job at TÜBİTAK UME, Chemistry Laboratories as technician.
Dilara KURT
Dilara Kurt graduated from Ankara University, Department of Chemistry in 2020 and was entitled to be "Second in the Chemistry Department". She also graduated from the Double Major Program in Physics in 2021. She completed her master's degree in Ankara University Chemistry Department and graduated in February 2023. In March 2023, she started working as a ‘’Researcher’’ in the Gas Metrology Laboratory at TÜBİTAK UME.
