The aim of this project is the development of a calibration system, including hardware and software, to perform automatic calibrations of wattmeters and standard energy meters owned by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Company (TEIAŞ).
Elements of the project include the calibration of the reference wattmeter and 33 standard energy meters at TÜBİTAK UME, development of the software for the automation of calibration of standard energy meters, implemenrtation of a training program for the operators from TEIAŞ on general metrology and particularly on the calibration of standard electricity meters, tracing of the annual drifts of standard energy meters, and developing the software for the automatic calculation of measurement uncertainties and automatic drafting of calibration certificates.
