In the scope of the project, for which the contract was signed in July 2013, consultancy service for the projection of the new building of the Metrology Center under auspices of the Azerbaijan State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents was given. As a part of the service, requirements for infrastructure in the new building, location of 34 different laboratories, requirements for environmental conditions, mechanical, electrical installations and other facilities were identified. Scope for technical activities for laboratories was discussed with Azerbaijan authorities and agreed on. The detailed report including information about equipment required for carrying out calibration and measurement activities along with the potential suppliers and estimated cost of the equipment was prepared and issued to the Azerbaijan State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents (Completed).
