Planned Developments
The laboratory is continuing research activity to achieve the required measurement quantity of the local industry. The prior working area is determined as primary level impedance measurements and power measuring equipment characterization up to 40 GHz.
Projects
Laboratory has been working in the national and international arena as the joint research projects related to the field of metrology.
Environments / Conditions
In the RF and Microwave Laboratory, the temperature and relative humidity are controlled at 23 ± 1 °C and 45 ± 15 %rH respectively to make repeatable measurements.
Infrastructure
The laboratory has primary level calibration systems for RF power sensor calibrations and calibrations of calculable impedance standards;
RF & Microwave
The aim of the RF and Microwave Laboratory is to comprise and maintain the primary level standards traceable to the SI units at the high frequency power, impedance, attenuation and noise measurements at the level of leading national metrology institutes. Also, distribute magnitudes obtained from standards to the countrywide.
