In this project, a metrological measurement infrastructure will be developed to support successful implementation of a Smart Electrical Grid in Europe. The Project consists of four main work packages as follows: Measurement framework for monitoring stability of smartgrids via application of reliable and accurate Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs). Traceable on-site energy measurement systems for ensuring fair energy trade. Remote on-site measurement of power quality and efficiency. Modelling, simulation and network analysis of the system state of smart grids.
Measurement strategy for substation PQ measurements, including specific preparation issues. Final results of the substation PQ campaign, including detailed data analysis and conclusions. Best Practice Guide for on-site PQ measurements in (smart) grids, including impact analysis of PQ in these grids.
