EMRP HLT 05 “Metrology for Metallomics” project, started in 2012, is supported by the European Metrology Research Programme. Five European Metrology Institutes and three designated institutes collaborate in this project. The aim of this project is to develop reference measurement procedures for reliable and comparable results in medical diagnosis area. In addition standard EN ISO 17511:2003 demands reference systems for the determination of analytes in samples in human origin. The results obtained with developed procedure will be traceable to the SI.
In this project, TÜBİTAK UME will develop primary measurement method in collaboration with project partners by producing and characterizing material. Procedures developed in this scope will be shared with clinical laboratories and research centers through publications of the results in international journals, presentations at congresses and conferences.
